Moon contains stock fire images which I added digital effects to, a rotating moon loop which I downloaded from the Prelinger Archives then made transparent in the black areas. The kaleidoscopic psychedelic background I made from footage I filmed with a GoPro stuck to my motorcycle helmet riding along the Citylink freeway at night. I then treated the footage. I used the same footage in the Rat Kangaroo clip Stress In The Jaw. The music is based on a lumpy 7/8 and 11/8 cycle. Mark adds the perfect mood with his fabulous Yoga warpage.
Moon combines iconic images that are burnt into the consciousness of every human being. Simple and powerful forces that govern everything we do. The moon and fire are two wonders that human beings have gazed at and dreamt through since our first collective breath. Ohm indeed.
Filmed live in my studio with two wall projections and my six screen Long Box. Shot by myself and Annette Clair.
