Smitten Bridge
Smitten Bridge perform and record songs penned by Andrew Garton. Each member brings to the group their own musical influence, building on and responding to lyrics, moods and progressions offered up by Andrew. For Smitten Bridge Andrew writes with acoustic guitar and tells stories of life, travels and the odd political insight. The music is often lively, sometimes moody, jazzy-folky-rockin worldy, subtle and pretty darn tasteful.
Smitten Bridge are (but not restricted to):
- Andrew Garton – vocals and steel string guitars
- Aaron Leamon – nylon string guitar
- Chip Wardale – electric bass
- Jamie Slagmolen – cajón
- Kate Adam – marimba, percussion, reeds and flutes
- Rachel Lowe, Tony Nirta and Kate Chinnick on vocals.
